The cars: chosen for the road you will drive

On a NobleRoute journey, the car is part of the experience, not just the way from one hotel to the next. You choose the kind of drive you want; we match the car to your route, your luggage and the number of people travelling.

We guarantee the category, not the model

Each category below has a reference car. We always confirm the category in writing; the exact model depends on availability for your dates, so it may be the reference car or a similar one of the same category. If the model matters to you, tell us and we will tell you honestly what we can confirm.

Four ways to drive the north

Convertible

Reference car: Porsche 911 Cabriolet, or similar.

Roof down along the coast road, the sea on one side and the vineyards on the other. Two comfortable seats and room for light luggage. Best from late spring to early autumn.

Grand tourer

Reference car: Porsche 911 Carrera, or similar.

For mountain passes and long, flowing roads. Two comfortable seats and a small boot: soft bags travel better than suitcases.

Premium SUV

Reference car: Porsche Cayenne, or similar.

Room for four and their luggage, a higher seat and a calm ride on narrow mountain roads. The right choice for friends travelling together or for longer journeys.

Electric

Reference car: Porsche Taycan, or similar.

Quiet and smooth, with room for four. We plan your route and your hotels around charging, so you never have to think about it.

With every car

• Automatic gearbox.

• Fully comprehensive insurance with no excess.

• Roadside assistance, with its own phone number in your road book.

• Turnkey handover: the car is waiting for you when you arrive. No rental desk, no queue. The place and time are confirmed in your proposal.

Which car for which journey?

• Two people, the coast in summer: convertible.

• Two people who came to drive the passes: grand tourer.

• Four people, or plenty of luggage: premium SUV or electric.

• A long journey with a quiet ride: electric or premium SUV.

Not sure? Tell us how many of you are travelling and how much luggage you bring, and we will recommend a category in your proposal.

Good to know

• The car's conditions (driving licence requirements, minimum age and any deposit) depend on the rental provider and are set out in your proposal before you confirm.

• Fuel, charging and tolls are not included.

• The photographs on this page show the reference cars; they are not the car you will receive.
